Karina said that she eventually decided to take matters into her own hands, and after doing a lot of research online, she created her own skin care routine using only four products that she bought at Target, each for less than $10.

Karina said that in addition to her topical skin care regimen, she also tried to reduce her intake of junk food and dairy products, and increased her water intake to help her skin.

Ally Banuelos said she was glad her daughter could “find something that’s inexpensive” to clear her skin.

“You don’t have to go to, you know, hundreds of dollars to go to the dermatologist when you can get something at Target for $40,” he added.
